Tom Silver devoted his career to practicing, studying, demonstrating, and teaching hypnosis through a physiological and scientific framework. He developed Emotion Replacement Therapy, incorporated EEG monitoring into his work, and trained practitioners and professionals internationally.
Tom also brought hypnosis to television, live entertainment, professional sports, and educational settings. His original recordings and teaching materials now allow a new generation of students to examine his ideas, demonstrations, and methods directly.

Tommy Giorlando is the sole currently licensed trainer authorized to teach Tom Silver’s Scientific Hypnosis and Emotion Replacement Therapy (E.R.T.) methods.
Before his passing, Tom authorized Tommy to continue this training and preserve the program for future practitioners. Students learn through Tom’s original recorded instruction together with Tommy’s live explanation, demonstrations, guided practice, and feedback.

How does the hybrid online format actually work?

The live sessions include explanation, demonstrations, questions, guided practice, and feedback. Students retain lifetime access to the course recordings and ongoing access to the private student community.
Is E.R.T. scientifically validated?
E.R.T. is an educational method developed by Tom Silver and is informed by concepts from hypnosis, learning, and emotional regulation. The method itself should not be described as independently clinically validated. This training is for education and professional development and does not replace medical, psychiatric, or psychological care.
What is the expected time commitment?

I'm already a certified hypnotherapist. Is this too basic?
No. This is advanced, specialized professional training. Experienced practitioners can use the course to add Tom Silver’s structured Scientific Hypnosis and E.R.T. methods to their existing knowledge, within their credentials and scope of practice.
How do I earn TSHA certification?
Students must successfully complete both a written knowledge assessment and a practical skills assessment. Certification is issued by Tom Silver Hypnosis Academy after those requirements are completed.
Does this certification grant a professional healthcare license?
No. This is a professional-development certification issued by Tom Silver Hypnosis Academy. It does not confer a state healthcare or mental-health license. Graduates are responsible for working within applicable laws, credentials, training, and professional scope.
