Tom Silver and His Hypnosis Teaching
Tom Silver developed Scientific Hypnosis and Emotion Replacement Therapy through years of practicing, demonstrating, and teaching hypnosis. His work included EEG exploration and instruction for practitioners and professionals internationally.
The academy preserves access to his teaching through original recordings. Students can hear his explanations, observe his demonstrations, and examine the ideas behind his methods in their original context.
Learning from original instruction
Recordings offer something a short description cannot: the opportunity to follow an explanation and watch a demonstration unfold. They also give students material to revisit as their understanding develops.
At the academy, original instruction is combined with live online teaching from Tommy Giorlando. Students discuss the material, ask questions, and participate in guided practice with feedback.
Scientific Hypnosis and E.R.T.
Tom approached hypnosis through a physiological and scientific framework and incorporated EEG monitoring into his work. The academy studies those observations while distinguishing them from independent published research.
His Emotion Replacement Therapy framework is taught as an educational methodology. It should not be described as independently clinically validated or as a replacement for healthcare.

Continuing the teaching
Before his passing, Tom authorized Tommy Giorlando to continue this training. The academy’s current program brings Tom’s recorded material together with live explanation, demonstrations, questions, and practice.
